Buddha Lounge

Our Musicians.

..

Claire - Vocals

Claire trained as an Opera singer during her years at

music college, singing nothing but a classical

repetoire. When moving back to the North East of

England  she decided to 'branch out' and has sung with

various Function Bands. She enjoys all styles of singing and

is not averse to trying them,  previously singing Folk,

Country, Bluegrass and many more..

Buddha Lounge is a band where she feels the music and

can release her huge Funk and Soul voice and her cutting

humour.

Graeme - Guitar

Graeme is a fabulous funk guitarist and like many of this

band, has been about the North east music scene for many

years.

He is passionate about music and his enjoyment of it is

evident when listening to him. His solos are a pure delight

and his inner 'Funk' shines when he plays, he has rhythm to

his core.

He has also been likened visually to Super Ted on many an

occasion!

Julian - Keys

Daddy Julian is a keen keys master. He is a very adaptable

musician who has been involved in the 'music business' for

some time.

He has played with many musicians, encorporating many

styles throughout the years and is also a very competent

producer who owns his own studio. Julianrecords, produces

and mixes all of Buddha Lounge's recorded musical links on

our set list and listen page on this site.

Pete - Drums

Peter has been playing drums from age 6 or 7 years, firstly

in a marching band , then the city of Newcastle Scottish

Pipes & Drums Band.

Since then he has played in various pub & club bands such

as The Roosters,  Wallstreet, Wishblowin Ash, and many

With Buddha Lounge he has found a band that truly

matches his style and passion for playing Soul and Funk.

He has been likened to Phil Collins on many occasion!

Garry- Bass Guitar

Garry is a character of mystery - he likes people to ask him

about his self, but face to face.

So if you come to one of our gigs, please feel free to ask

him!

What can we say about him.......

good lad,

funky bass basher!

Sax

The one and only STEVE FARDOE!
Steve can be seen at most of our gigs, only in different human formations.
